ROCK CHOIR is a fantastic opportunity to experience a new way of singing and performing!

Popular music is an integral part of a person’s life and ROCK CHOIR creates an opportunity for all talent to develop and gain experience in a professional environment amongst other singers and musicians. It’s an exciting introduction to singing and music for any ability using pop and modern songs. Not only does ROCK CHOIR allow learning and understanding of performance to take place but it also builds confidence and creates friendships in a monitored and structured environment.

ROCK CHOIR rehearses in term time and will be introducing opportunities for performances out of house! Weekly rehearsals lead to fun and rewarding concerts and workshops.

Please note: Students do not have to be able to read music.  The choir is directed through sheet music but also taught by rote, thus allowing students who cannot read music to join.  Breathing and vocal technique is integral to each rehearsal and members learn a variety of singing techniques based on these activities.

ROCK CHOIR builds confidence, offers new skills, helps co-ordination and exhilarates the individual. Reports now show that singing improves and aids other learning to the extent of raising school grades!
